Cyprus Registers 4.5% Growth in Q4 2025 – Finance Minister Comments

Cyprus's economy grew by 4.5% in the fourth quarter of 2025 on an annual basis, according to a preliminary estimate by the Statistical Service. Compared to the previous quarter, the increase was 1.4% (seasonally adjusted figures). This performance significantly exceeds the European average, which was 1.3% for the Eurozone and 1.5% for the EU. For the whole of 2025, the growth rate is estimated at 3.75%, higher than previous forecasts. The Cypriot economy maintains strong momentum despite increased international uncertainty, recording high growth rates combined with low inflation and full employment. The Minister of Finance stated that the continuation of prudent fiscal policy will strengthen the economy’s resilience and maintain growth rates above 3% in the medium term.
