US DOJ to Review Epstein Documents Amid Allegations of Concealing Trump-Related Material

The US Department of Justice has committed to reviewing documents from the Epstein case following allegations that it concealed material related to Donald Trump, specifically accusations of sexual assault on a minor. NPR reported that the Department blocked the release of documents linked to Trump, while documents pertaining to charges against Epstein, mentioning Trump's name, were removed from the public database. The Justice Department initially denied the allegations but later announced it was reviewing the files. The New York Times reported that among the undisclosed documents are FBI notes summarizing investigations related to allegations made by a woman who claimed she was sexually assaulted by Epstein and Trump. Democratic members of the House of Representatives are investigating and claim the Justice Department illegally concealed the FBI investigations with the victim.
