Florida Airport to be Named After Donald Trump

The Palm Beach International Airport in Florida will soon be renamed “Donald Trump” after a bill was approved by the Florida House of Representatives and Senate, where Republicans hold the majority. The bill is expected to be signed into law by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, but also requires approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This move follows previous renaming of infrastructure in honor of Trump, such as the Kennedy Center to the Trump-Kennedy Center. Trump had also requested that other stations, such as Penn Station in New York and Dulles International Airport, be named after him, but his proposals were rejected. Additionally, the issuance of a commemorative coin featuring Trump's portrait is being considered, despite relevant legal restrictions.
