Details have emerged regarding the fratricide that took place in Viannos, Crete, with a 67-year-old victim and a 64-year-old brother as the perpetrator. According to the case file, the crime took place within 15 minutes, after the perpetrator called the police about an argument over car keys. The 64-year-old allegedly argued with his brother because he wouldn't give him the car keys. During the phone call, police heard the tension escalate and rushed to the brothers' home. The perpetrator confessed to the act, stating that he beat his brother and then stabbed him in the neck and abdomen, leaving the knife embedded in the victim's stomach.
