A weak low-pressure system is affecting the region, and a low-pressure system centered over Greece will temporarily affect the island late tonight. Dust will be observed intermittently until tomorrow morning. Today, increased cloud cover and local showers are expected, mainly in the western half of the island and later in northern areas. Snow or sleet is possible in the mountains. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, gradually strengthening on the windward side. The sea will be slightly rough to rough. Tonight, isolated showers are expected, especially in the mountains, in western and southern areas. Winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly, light to moderate, gradually strengthening. The sea will become rough and later, wavy on the west. On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly cloudy with local showers and isolated thunderstorms, with the phenomena weakening in the afternoon. Strong westerly winds will prevail, and snow or sleet is expected in the higher mountains.
