Application for Lifting Sizopoulos' Immunity Filed by Legal Service - Referred to Supreme Court

The Legal Service of Cyprus has filed an application for the lifting of the parliamentary immunity of MP Marinos Sizopoulos. The application was registered on Friday, February 20, 2026. The case has been scheduled for hearing before the Supreme Court on March 3, 2026, at 12:00. The case will be examined by the Supreme Court to determine whether to lift the immunity of MP Sizopoulos, thus allowing for criminal prosecution against him, if there is evidence of offenses.
