Για περίπου 15 λεπτά ήχησαν, το μεσημέρι της Παρασκευής, οι σειρήνες στις Βάσεις Ακρωτηρίου, οι οποίες απέστειλαν και σχετικό μήνυμα.
Οι σειρήνες ήχησαν γύρω στις 13:35 με τις ΒΒ να αναφέρουν σε μήνυμα ότι υπάρχει σε εξέλιξη απειλή ασφάλειας.
Οι ΒΒ κάλεσαν τους κατοίκους Ακρωτηρίου να παραμείνουν εντός των οικιών τους και μακριά από παράθυρα.
Περίπου 15 λεπτά αργότερα οι σειρήνες σταμάτησαν να ηχούν, με τις ΒΒ να αναφέρουν λήξη συναγερμού.
