Chasapopoulos Withdraws Candidacy from 'Direct Democracy' Party

Andreas Chasapopoulos announced his decision to withdraw his candidacy for election with the 'Direct Democracy' party. In a lengthy post, he explained that his decision stemmed from disagreements with Pheidi on matters of principle and substance, as well as his reaction to attempts at reconciliation with the party of Odysseus Michailidis. He also stated that he identified issues in the operation of 'Direct Democracy' with which he disagreed, regarding transparency and citizen participation. He emphasizes that he did not seek a political career through the party, but wanted to evaluate the effort and see if it met his expectations.
