The Cypriot businessman Konstantinos Siakolas passed away, leaving behind a long and significant career in the construction and investment sector. He was one of the most important figures in the development of the Cypriot business world and left a strong footprint in the field. Siakolas studied Civil Engineering and dedicated himself to the world of large infrastructure projects from a young age. His professional career was closely linked to the Ioannou & Paraskevaides (J&P Overseas) group for more than 49 years, where he also served as a member of the Board of Directors. In 1977, he took over as country manager in Saudi Arabia, recording a significant increase in revenue, while in 2000 he became general manager and subsequently managing director of the group, contributing decisively to its international expansion. His success, as he himself emphasized, was based on consistency, trust with partners, and the development of good relations with the countries in which he operated. Konstantinos Siakolas was known for his business acumen and his dedication to the development of Cyprus and the region. His loss has caused grief in the business world.
