A robbery occurred in a jewellery store in Ayia Napa in the early hours of the morning, with the perpetrators stealing valuables worth approximately €200,000. The store's alarm was triggered around 4:00 a.m., alerting the manager, who subsequently reported the incident to the Police. The perpetrators gained entry by forcing open the security shutters and smashing the shop's front windows. Police estimate that the robbery was carried out in a very short period of time, indicating preparation and speed in their actions. Police officers went to the scene of the robbery, conducted investigations, and collected evidence. The perpetrators are described as individuals with their faces covered, using hoods to avoid identification. The Police are currently collecting and evaluating footage from security cameras in the area, in order to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
