Is Turkish Pragmatism Facing Difficulties?

Turkey sent a message to the US that it has no intention of becoming involved in a military conflict with Iran or participating in operations in the Strait of Hormuz. Ankara, through an anonymous official, stated that it would not risk its forces for the interests of Israel in the Persian Gulf, responding to Trump's call for support in securing the strait. This move is seen as a message both domestically and internationally, that Turkey does not wish to become involved in conflicts concerning Israel. Turkey maintains a neutral stance, condemning both Iranian attacks and American and Israeli actions. Despite the importance of Turkey due to the Incirlik base and the radars in Kürecik, it appears it is not going to abandon its cautious approach. The US is currently avoiding using Incirlik for attacks on Iran, but the situation could change if tensions escalate.
