Six Dead as Russia Strikes Energy Infrastructure and Port in Ukraine

Russian strikes on energy infrastructure and the port of Odesa in Ukraine have resulted in the deaths of six people, Ukrainian officials announced on Friday. The overnight attacks involved the launch of one missile and 154 drones, with some drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace. In the city of Kramatorsk, three men and a boy were killed, while a 48-year-old man was killed by a drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region. The worst damage was reported in the Odesa region, where one person was killed in an attack on port infrastructure. DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company, stated that the energy facilities suffered 'extremely serious' damage, leaving approximately 300,000 people without water in Odesa. Moscow has intensified its attacks on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure in recent weeks.
