All Four Guilty in Greek Wiretapping Scandal

The Athens Single Misdemeanor Court found all four defendants guilty in the wiretapping scandal. The private entrepreneurs Tal Dillian, Felix Bitsios, Yiannis Lavranos, and Sarah Alexandra Hamou were convicted of a series of misdemeanor offenses, including interference with personal data, telephone communication violations, and illegal access to information systems. The court adopted the prosecutor's proposal to convert some charges to a cumulative form, which may increase the severity of the penalties. The proceedings continue with the consideration of mitigating circumstances and the determination of final sentences.
