Teenager Admits to Burglary in Korno - Weapons and Safe Hidden on a Farm

A 17-year-old has been arrested and detained for seven days in connection with a burglary in Korno, where €72,950 and two hunting rifles were stolen. The suspect confessed to the crime and named two accomplices, whose identities are being sought. According to the Police, the 17-year-old stated that after the burglary, he went to a farm in Aradippou where he buried the weapons and the safe with the money. The Police proceeded to recover the stolen items from the farm. The burglary took place between 10:50 PM yesterday and 2:25 AM today, and the complaint was filed by the 46-year-old owner of the house. In addition to the money and weapons, the metal gun cabinet was also stolen. Police investigations are ongoing, with statements being taken from the suspect's environment, biometric data being collected, and the search for the gun cabinet and the two accomplices. The Police have issued arrest warrants for the two accomplices.
