A car owned by a 47-year-old was set on fire in Larnaca around 5:30 AM today, resulting in its complete destruction. The fire spread and caused extensive damage to a second vehicle, belonging to a 38-year-old, which was parked nearby. Members of the Fire Service immediately rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire, while the Police launched investigations to determine the cause. The investigations by the Fire Service and Police concluded that the fire in the first vehicle was deliberately set, meaning it was arson. The case has been assigned to the Larnaca TAE, which is investigating the circumstances and motives of the arson.
