Early Wednesday morning, an explosion occurred at a florist shop in the Polemidia area of Limassol. The explosion was caused by a low-intensity improvised explosive device placed outside the store. The explosion caused extensive damage to the facade of the florist shop and two parked vehicles. Police were immediately mobilized and are conducting investigations to determine the cause of the explosion and identify those responsible. Members of the Limassol TAE are at the scene collecting evidence and examining testimonies. The owner of the florist shop is a 49-year-old woman.
