Maria Sakkari Jumps 18 Spots in WTA Rankings

Maria Sakkari has achieved a significant rise in the WTA world rankings, gaining 18 positions to reach 34th place with 1,435 points. This improvement is attributed to her successful run to the semi-finals of the Qatar tournament. Aryna Sabalenka remains at the top of the rankings with 10,870 points, followed by Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina. The top ten is completed by Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Amanda Anisimova, Mira Andreeva, Jasmine Paolini, Elina Svitolina, and Victoria Bouc. Sakkari is the only Greek female tennis player in the top 100 of the rankings.
