Woodside to Supply US LNG to Turkey's BOTAS

Australian company Woodside Energy has signed an agreement with Turkish state oil company BOTAS to sell approximately 5.8 billion cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG) over nine years, starting in 2030. The LNG will primarily come from Woodside's under-construction project in Louisiana, USA, supplemented by other sources. The Louisiana project, the largest foreign investment in the state's history, received approval after Donald Trump's return to power and his promise to unleash American energy. This agreement represents a strategic milestone for Woodside, as it is its first long-term LNG supply agreement with the Turkish market.
