Vehicle Collision Causes Sparks in EAC Cables in Lakatamia

Sparks were observed in EAC cables in Lakatamia, caused by a traffic accident. According to EAC spokesperson Christina Papadopoulou, a vehicle collided with an EAC pole, causing it to break and resulting in the shaking and sparks in the cables. The circumstances of the accident remain unknown, as does the condition of the driver. EAC crews are working feverishly to replace the damaged pole and restore power to the area.
