Ukraine: Forced Evacuation of 3,000 Children Due to Russian Advances

More than 3,000 children with their parents are being forcibly evacuated from the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions of Ukraine due to Russian advances. The decision was made by Ukrainian authorities as the security situation in the area is considered particularly difficult. Simultaneously, a Russian missile attack on an apartment building in Kharkiv caused at least 30 injuries, including a 6-month-old infant. Moscow accuses Kyiv of a drone attack in the Kherson region, resulting in 27 deaths, and threatens retaliation. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy described the attack in Kharkiv as “hideous” and accused Russia of killing without regard for international efforts for peace.
