UEFA Investigates Fenerbahce Over Player Contracts and Mourinho Deal

Fenerbahce is under investigation by UEFA regarding its player contracts and the hiring of Jose Mourinho. A UEFA committee, including experts from Deloitte, has prepared a report highlighting the club's financial and economic issues. UEFA is requesting further information on player transfers such as Kerem Aktürkoğlu, Milan Škriniar, and Diego Carlos, as well as Mourinho's contract. The most critical issue concerns Aktürkoğlu's contract and his minimum wage. A possible penalty from UEFA could lead to stricter sanctions from the Turkish Football Federation. According to testimonies, former Fenerbahce director Hakan Safi was the one who paid Aktürkoğlu's salary when he joined the team.
