UAE Minister to Iran: "We Will Not Yield to Intimidation"

The UAE Minister of State, Lana Nusseibeh, strongly criticized Iran for its attacks on Gulf countries, describing them as unacceptable and a threat to regional stability and the global economy. She emphasized that the UAE will not succumb to intimidation and called on Iran to comply with international law and UN Resolution 2817. Nusseibeh stressed that the continuation of the conflict is harmful to all and that Iran must act as a responsible state. While acknowledging the UAE's respect for the Iranian people and culture, she insisted on the need for responsible behavior. According to the UAE Ministry of Defense, air defenses have intercepted a large number of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones since the start of Iranian attacks. Nusseibeh warned that Iran's actions in the Strait of Hormuz constitute economic warfare, but the UAE and its allies will prevail.
