Turkey's Vice President, Cevdet Yilmaz, presented a 'Smart Transportation System' in the occupied territories of Cyprus, which includes the installation of 150 speed control systems (130 fixed and 20 mobile). The project, costing $4.7 million, is funded by Turkey and aims for centralized traffic monitoring, utilizing technologies such as sensors, image processing, and data analysis. The presentation took place in occupied Nicosia, and the involvement of the Turkish company RADARSAN, linked to the Turkish Presidency of Defense Industries, was mentioned. The goal is to improve road safety and more effectively enforce traffic laws in the occupied territories.
