Turkish Aircraft Violate Greek Airspace

Turkish aircraft violated Greek airspace and air traffic rules in the Athens FIR today. Specifically, one UAV made three violations of national airspace and three violations of the Athens FIR, while a CN-235 reconnaissance aircraft made two violations of the Athens FIR. The violations and infringements were recorded in the northeastern and southeastern Aegean Sea. According to the HNDGS, the Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted by Greek fighter jets, in accordance with international rules and established practice.
