Turkey Dismantles Espionage Network with Iranian Links, Cyprus Allegedly Involved

Turkish authorities have dismantled an espionage network with links to Iran, arresting six individuals in an operation carried out in five Turkish provinces. The network is accused of collecting sensitive military and security information, as well as planning potential attacks, including reconnaissance of the Incirlik airbase. According to reports, the network was guided by Iranian intelligence officials and allegedly planned to transfer armed drones from Turkey to occupied Cyprus and, according to claims, to the Republic of Cyprus. The suspects have been remanded in custody on charges of espionage.
