Ο πρόεδρος των ΗΠΑ Ντόναλντ Τραμπ ανακοίνωσε χθες Δευτέρα πως αυξάνει στο 25% τους δασμούς στις εισαγωγές αυτοκινήτων, ξυλείας και φαρμακευτικών προϊόντων από τη Νότια Κορέα, κατηγορώντας τη Σεούλ ότι δεν εφαρμόζει την εμπορική συμφωνία με την Ουάσινγκτον.
«Επειδή η κορεατική Βουλή δεν έχει θέσει σε ισχύ την ιστορική εμπορική συμφωνία (με τις ΗΠΑ), κάτι που είναι δικαίωμά τους, αυξάνω τους δασμούς σε αυτοκίνητα, ξυλεία και φαρμακευτικά προϊόντα από τη Νότια Κορέα, και όλους τους άλλους ανταποδοτικούς δασμούς από 15% σε 25%», ανέφερε ο Τραμπ σε ανάρτησή του στην πλατφόρμα Truth Social.
