Trimiklini Scandal: Official on the Counterattack – Former Director Requests Immediate Review from Anti-Corruption Authority

One of the public officials under investigation in the Trimiklini fish farm case, Loizos Loizidis, former Director of the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research, has launched a counterattack against the Independent Authority Against Corruption. Mr. Loizidis disputes the allegations linking him to criminal liability regarding the signing of the fish farm's establishment and operating licenses in 2011 and 2013. Through his lawyer, Alexandra Lycourgou, he is requesting an immediate review of the Authority's announcement, arguing that it violates his constitutional rights and presents him as guilty without evidence. The letter from Mr. Loizidis criticizes the Authority for selectively publicizing accusations and treating the involved officials unfairly.
