Three Injured in Kyiv and Odesa from Russian Strikes

Russia attacked Ukraine again overnight with unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and ballistic missiles, injuring three people and causing significant damage in the capital Kyiv and the port city of Odesa, according to Ukrainian officials. Two people were injured in the missile attack in Kyiv, one of them seriously, the city's mayor Vitali Klitschko announced today. Another 2,600 apartment buildings were left without heating in the Ukrainian capital, in addition to the more than 1,100 already facing the problem, following Russian strikes overnight on energy infrastructure across the country. In Odesa, one person was injured after a massive Russian drone attack on the city and 23 people are receiving psychological support after a nine-story apartment building was hit. The attacks also targeted energy facilities, causing a fire at one of them. According to the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister, about 300,000 people in Odesa were left without electricity and water, while 200 buildings were left without heating. A major Ukrainian energy company announced that its thermal power plant was attacked overnight, causing significant damage to its equipment.
