The Day After in Iran: Khamenei's Son Favorite for Succession – Trump Hints: 'I Know Who, But I Won't Say'

Following recent attacks, Iran is at the center of discussions regarding the succession of the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. The son of the Supreme Leader appears to be the frontrunner for the position, while Donald Trump claims to know the successor but is unwilling to reveal his name. Simultaneously, the son of the Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, declares his readiness to return to his homeland and claim the throne. According to the Iranian constitution, the selection of the successor rests with the Assembly of Experts, a body of 88 clerics. Meanwhile, the three-member committee overseeing the transitional period consists of the president, the head of the judiciary, and a cleric from the Council of Guardians of the Revolution. The situation remains uncertain, given the ongoing military attack from the United States and Israel.
