President of Cyprus Discusses Greenland with Danish Prime Minister

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, had an extensive telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, regarding the issue of Greenland and the discussions between Denmark and the US. The President expects that the EU's decisions will be made at the extraordinary European Council convened for Thursday. He stressed that Cyprus's position on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of states is non-negotiable and will fulfill its institutional role. Furthermore, he clarified that there is no financial burden for the countries that will participate in the Peace Council for Gaza, denying previous reports.
