Weak high pressure is affecting Cyprus, but a low pressure system is expected to gradually strengthen from tomorrow. Dust will be present in the atmosphere until tomorrow. From tomorrow night, winds will intensify, especially in coastal areas. Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy with the possibility of patchy fog in inland areas. Winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate. The sea will be calm to slightly choppy, but will gradually become choppy in the west and north. The temperature will drop to 8 degrees Celsius inland, 12 degrees on the coast, and 7 degrees in the mountains. Tomorrow, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with the possibility of local showers in the west in the afternoon. Winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly in the morning, and will turn southwesterly to northwesterly in the afternoon. The sea will be generally choppy and later rough in the west and north. The temperature will rise to 20 degrees Celsius inland, 21 degrees on the coast, and 14 degrees in the mountains. Tomorrow night, local showers and thunderstorms are expected, starting in the west and then spreading across the island. Snow is expected in the mountains. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to strong inland, and strong to very strong on the coast, with the possibility of becoming violent.
