Stilianos Case: Two Officials Admit Charges - Third Person to Follow

Two individuals accused in the case of 15-year-old Stilianos' suicide in 2019 in Kotsiati have changed their initial stance and admitted to the charges. Specifically, a former Social Welfare Services (SWC) official admitted to the charges against him, while another defendant admitted to three charges. A third defendant is expected to follow suit. The case involves a total of 11 individuals, with Stilianos' father being a central figure, accused of physical and psychological violence. The mother is accused of failing to report incidents of violence. The remaining nine defendants are SWC officials accused of negligence of duty. Separately, a 58-year-old police sergeant is accused in a separate case related to Stilianos' suicide, which will be heard by a different court due to potential legal complications.
