Six Children Hospitalized After Traffic Accident in Northern Cyprus – Elderly Driver Entered Opposite Lane

Seven people, including six minors, were injured in a traffic accident that occurred on Monday on the road between the villages of Agios Symeon and Koroveia in Karpasia, Northern Cyprus. The accident occurred when a 72-year-old driver allegedly entered the opposite lane and collided with a minibus driven by a 52-year-old. Six children, aged 11 to 13, were passengers in the minibus and were injured. They were transported to a hospital in Famagusta. The 72-year-old driver of the other vehicle was also injured. The causes of the accident are under investigation.
