Significant Gains on the CSE, Foreseeing 8% Monthly Profits

The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) recorded significant gains in Tuesday's session, with the General Index closing at 301.18 points, marking a 2.19% increase. The FTSE/CySE 20 index rose by 1.45% to 177.82 points, while the value of transactions reached €976,637. The Main Market (2.10%), the Alternative Market (1.48%), and Hotels (4.63%) all showed profits, while Investment Companies experienced a decline (0.90%). The Bank of Cyprus share had the highest trading volume, with transactions worth €1,816,731 and a 3.79% increase, closing at €9.30. It was followed by Logicom, Dimitra Investment, Vasilikos Cement Works, and Eurobank Cyprus. Overall, 13 shares moved upwards, 6 downwards, and 4 remained stable, with the number of transactions reaching 202. Furthermore, the Stock Exchange approved the listing of 132,310 shares of NETinfo Plc, which are granted free of charge to the Group's staff. Trading of the shares will begin on Friday, January 30th, and the company's total listed share capital will amount to 13,012,980 shares. Overall, the market shows positive signs, with significant gains and increasing transaction value. This rise comes ahead of the expected large profits of 8.4% in the first month of 2026, which boosts investor confidence.
