Serres: Note to Children and Wife Left by Missing Firefighter

Searches continue for the missing commander of the Ano Poroia Fire Station, Konstantinos Ginis, in the Belles mountain area. The 45-year-old has been missing since Tuesday, December 23rd, and police are investigating all possibilities. A note found at his home contained the names of his wife and children with the words "I love you" next to each name, suggesting he left it for them to find. Furthermore, analysis of data from Ginis' smartwatch revealed that in the days leading up to his disappearance, his sleep was limited to just 2-3 hours per night, and on the last night before he went missing, he slept for only 1 hour and 15 minutes. This, combined with a route recorded by the smartwatch that is unusual for the 45-year-old, has attracted the attention of authorities. Police have already spoken with Ginis' family and colleagues to gather more information about the circumstances before his disappearance. The 45-year-old left home in his mother's car, without taking his mobile phone, bank cards, or other personal belongings. The disappearance was reported by his wife on December 24th. According to the silver alert, Ginis was wearing a dark blue and petrol jacket, a gray sweater, a black polo shirt with a light green stripe, black trousers with zips on the sides, and black sports shoes. Searches remain ongoing in the hope of finding new evidence that will lead to his discovery.
