Φανερά απογοητευμένος παρουσιάστηκε ο Μαρίνος Σατσιάς μετά την ήττα από την Ένωση. Ο προπονητής της Ομόνοιας Αραδίππου αναφέρθηκε και στην διαιτησία αλλά και στη μάχη της παραμονής.
Αναλυτικά: «Ελέγχαμε το παιχνίδι. Είπαμε πως έπρεπε να ήμασταν προσεχτικοί. Δεν αποφύγαμε τις δύο φάσεις της Ένωσης και δεχθήκαμε γκολ. Ισοφαρίσαμε, βρήκαμε ευκαιρίες. Μας έλειπε η ηρεμία για να ισοφαρίσουμε ξανά. Πιστεύω πως μπορεί να είχαμε δύο πέναλτι, όχι ένα. Κάναμε αλλαγές, προσπαθήσαμε να βάλουμε κόσμο μπροστά αλλά δεν τα καταφέραμε. Μας παίρνει λίγο πίσω αυτή η ήττα. Ότι χτίσαμε, το χαλάσαμε. Πρέπει να αντιδράσουμε και να ετοιμαστούμε για τη συνέχεια. Δεν είπαμε ότι εξασφαλίσαμε την παραμονή. Ίσως αυτή η σφαλιάρα να μας κάνει καλύτερους. Φάνηκε το άγχος. Στη συνέχεια θα το πάρουμε πιο ζεστά. Από μας εξαρτάται. Έχουμε δύσκολο παιχνίδι με την ΑΕΛ στο οποίο θα προσπαθήσουμε να πάρουμε βαθμούς».
