Rockslide of Rocks Weighing Over Three Tons in Tsada

Continuous rainfall caused a rockslide on the main Paphos - Polis Chrysochous road, near Tsada. The rocks, weighing over three tons, fell onto the road on Saturday night, disrupting traffic for several hours. Traffic was restored around 2 am, after the cleaning work was completed. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. The landslide also caused damage to the area's retaining wall. Tsada community crews and the police worked immediately to clear the road and restore safety. The community leader of Tsada thanked the crews and the police for their prompt response and excellent cooperation.
