Protest in Limassol Against Middle East War and US-Israel Strikes on Iran

A protest took place in Limassol against the war in the Middle East and the attacks by Israel and the US on Iran. Organized by the Pan-Cypriot Peace Council (PPC), protesters chanted slogans against bases and armies, expressing their opposition to Cyprus' involvement in "imperialist wars". The PPC strongly condemns the attacks against Iran and the bombing throughout the Middle East, including Cyprus. It believes that Cyprus should not be involved in these wars. The demonstration was held at the Limassol pier theatre and the PPC is calling on all citizens to participate in a larger anti-war demonstration on Tuesday, March 3rd, at the same time and place. This protest is part of a broader effort for peace and preventing escalation in the region, with an emphasis on avoiding Cyprus' involvement in military conflicts.
