Prosecution for Disobedience Against 'Frappes'

The Athens First Instance Prosecutor's Office has filed criminal charges for disobedience against Giorgos Xylouris, also known as 'Frappes', due to his failure to appear at the first summons to testify before the investigative committee for OPKEPE. The trial is scheduled for March 30, 2026. Mr. Xylouris had invoked the right to remain silent, which provoked reactions within the committee. He is also being investigated for false testimony as part of another preliminary investigation, following his second appearance before the committee where he refused to answer questions.
