Presidential Spokesperson Dismisses Corruption Allegations, Defends Christodoulides' Integrity

The President's office has strongly dismissed any suspicions of corruption, with the Director of the Press Office, Viktor Papadopoulos, stating that the President has “clean hands.” Mr. Papadopoulos mentioned that the President even considers whether to eat at a restaurant to avoid misunderstandings. He confirmed that there had been contacts with potential investors but denied any close cooperation with George Chrysos, the CEO of Cyfield, stating that the President did not even respond to the latter's congratulatory message. Mr. Papadopoulos defended the transparency of the Independent Social Support Authority and criticized AKEL for its criticism, reminding them of past cases involving bribes.
