POED Expresses Discontent Over Co-location of French Cypriot School of Limassol

POED has expressed strong dissatisfaction with the co-location of the French Cypriot School of Limassol with the A' Primary School and A' Kindergarten of Limassol. The organization argues that this decision hinders the operation of public schools, as spaces are designed for specific educational needs. Furthermore, POED questions whether the co-location aims to gradually alter the philosophy of public education. Children from the primary and kindergarten schools have been forced to move to other floors, while workshops and special education rooms have been canceled to accommodate the French Cypriot School. POED demands the immediate finding of another space for the French Cypriot School and emphasizes that the quality of education and the identity of the public school are non-negotiable.
