Members of the Police in collaboration with members of the Game and Fauna Service, went to an area in Pera Chorio Nysou last night following information about poaching. They found three men, aged 41, 41 and 57, as well as two airguns and 700 pellets. One airgun belonged to one of the 41-year-olds, while the other belonged to a relative of his. They also found three dead wild birds (a hoopoe and two finches) in a vest belonging to the 57-year-old. A small amount of cocaine (0.5 grams) was also found in the vest, resulting in the 57-year-old being arrested.
