Poaching Case in Nicosia: Airguns, Dead Birds, and Cocaine Discovered

In Nicosia, the Police and the Game and Fauna Service arrested three men following information regarding poaching. During a search in the Pera Chorio area, two airguns and 700 pellets were found, one belonging to one of the suspects and the other to a relative. Additionally, three dead wild birds were discovered inside a vest owned by the 57-year-old. In the same vest, the Police found 0.5 grams of suspected cocaine, leading to the arrest of the 57-year-old for drug possession. The 57-year-old was later released, while YKAN continues the investigation. The poaching case is being investigated by the Pera Chorio Police Station in cooperation with the Game and Fauna Service.
