Pheidiades Panagiotou Elected President of Direct Democracy of Cyprus

The internal elections of the Direct Democracy of Cyprus have been completed, held electronically through the AGORA application between March 19-21. 21,874 members and supporters of the party had the right to vote, with over 7,000 participating. Pheidiades Panagiotou was elected president of the party with 4,006 votes, garnering 56.79% of the votes. Diana Constantinidou was appointed Vice President. Anastasiou Tasos, Varosiotis Andreas, Giorkas Minas, Constantinidou Diana, Pigas Andreas, and Christodoulou Stefanos also competed for the presidency of the party. Pheidiades Panagiotou announced that elections for the presidency of the party will be held every two and a half years. His election marks a new phase for Direct Democracy, aiming to strengthen its representation in the Cypriot political scene.
