PASYDY and SAK Express 'Discomfort and Indignation' Over Police Chief's Working Hour Announcements

PASYDY and the Cyprus Police Association (SAK) express strong 'discomfort and indignation' over the announcements by the Police Chief regarding changes to the working hours of police officers. They believe that the intention to reduce working days from 19.5 to 4.7 is a blatant violation of labor institutions and a unilateral modification of a fundamental right. They emphasize that the current working hours are the product of an agreement within the framework of MEPA and call on the Chief to reconsider his decision, warning of a disruption in the climate of trust between the two sides.
