The Paphos Regional Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP Paphos) has been informed by the Environmental Commissioner about the progress of including a region of Paphos in the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves. The process involves commissioning a company to prepare the relevant dossier, covering the 32 communities of Paphos. The aim is to highlight the area as a place that combines the protection of nature, sustainable development, and the participation of local communities. ETAP Paphos expressed its satisfaction with this development and pledged to contribute its expertise and data, especially in tourism and environmental management.
