Panathinaikos-Aris Cup Quarterfinal to be Held at OAKA

Panathinaikos has decided to move the Cup quarterfinal match against Aris to OAKA due to the replacement of the pitch at Leoforos Stadium. Although the new turf has been laid correctly, it needs additional time to fully “settle” and ensure the ideal level of safety and stability for the players. The decision comes after an inspection by the Panathinaikos technical staff. The club has invested significant funds in installing high-quality Dutch turf, aiming to solve the moisture and slipperiness problems that Leoforos had been facing. The match against Panserraikos had already been held at OAKA, and now the same decision is being made for the match against Aris, so that Leoforos is completely ready for the next games. Moving the match to OAKA is considered a precautionary measure, prioritizing the safety of the athletes.
