Pafos FC's Technical Director, Christoforos Matthaiou, stated that the team achieved an important victory over Omonia Aradippou, despite the challenges of the match. Praising the opposing team and their coach, he emphasized that Pafos created many opportunities and showed character. Regarding the new coach, Albert Theladas, he expressed the opinion that he understands the team's requirements and wants to continue the existing course. Concerning the upcoming game against Olympiacos at GSP Stadium, Matthaiou acknowledged the challenge but stated that the team will fight for the win. He highlighted Bruno's absence due to suspension and the expectation for the return of Basouaminas and Langka. Regarding transfer reinforcements, Matthaiou mentioned that the coach needs time to evaluate the roster and determine the team's needs. He stressed that signing a foreign player would require the departure of another. Finally, he informed about the team's departure for London on Tuesday morning, emphasizing that all tickets are sold out and that the team will have the support of approximately 2,500 fans. He made it clear that the mission is not for tourism but to compete and prove the team's worth in the tournament.
