Öztürkler 'Sees' Regional Role for the Pseudo-State

Ziya Öztürkler, "president of the assembly" in the occupied territories, stated that recent developments in the Eastern Mediterranean mark a new era for the pseudo-state, enabling it to take on a more active role in regional peace. He argued that the "tdbk" (pseudo-state) must be strengthened and play a significant role in the region, which is a desire of Turkey. Öztürkler referred to meetings he held in Ankara with Turkish officials, where security and inter-parliamentary relations were discussed. He expressed the view that the Israel-Iran conflict could change regional balances and affect the Eastern Mediterranean, emphasizing that Cyprus is at risk due to the involvement of the United Kingdom, Israel, and Iran. He stressed the need for self-determination of security for the pseudo-state and the value of the Turkish military presence.
