Olive Routes to Arrive in Paphos in 2026

The European cultural and tourism program “Olive Routes” is expanding to Paphos in 2026, connecting the region with other European routes. The program has already been promoted by Paphos tourism bodies and has received positive evaluation from its representatives. The proposed route will cover all the municipalities and 30 communities of Paphos, with a total length of over 170 kilometers. It will include visits to olive groves, monasteries, churches, archaeological sites, museums, creative workshops, and viewpoints. The route will be primarily aimed at individual visitors who will travel by their own means of transport or by rented bus/taxi, as public transport is not sufficient to cover the countryside. Paphos stakeholders believe that inclusion in the “Olive Routes” cultural route will strengthen the province’s cultural position and highlight its comparative advantages in tourism and traditions.
